Grzesiak, PE. The Vault is designed to serve an assumed number of 4 persons in a 1 bedroom cabin in Fulford where a traditional WTS with soil treatment area cannot be accommodated due to lot size. The OWTS consists of a single sewer line exiting the cabin with a cleanout within 5 feet of the outer wall, followed by a two-compartment 1,000 gallon Valley Precast septic tank, with audible and visual high water alarm in the second compartment with floats set for alarm at 75% capacity. Maintain all setbacks including 10 feet from the water line to the tank, and 5 feet from the water line to the sewer line, 50 feet from any water source. Note: due to occurrences of septic tanks floating in the area, it is strongly recommended that the tank be anchored. Contact Eagle County Environmental Health and the design engineer well in advance of requesting inspections prior to backfilling any component of the OWTS. The design engineer is responsible for conducting all inspections necessary to certify the installation and assure the functionality of the system. System certification, along with photos and a record drawing is required to be submitted to and approved by Eagle County Environmental Health prior to the use of the system or occupancy of the dwelling. The installation contractor was Spiegel Construction and Excavation; 970-904-0694. A site visit for system installation inspection was conducted on August 1, 2022. The installed septic tank meets sizing requirements per the design. The tank lids have been raised to the proposed grade elevation. Concrete dead man anchors were installed per plan. Please see attached as-built drawing of the installation. Installation photos are included on the as-built drawing.
