RESOLUTION
of the
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE
• COUNTY OF EAGLE AND STATE OF COLORADO
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Eagle County that
WHEREAS Samuel 0. Kuntz has given long and devoted service
to Eagle County as Agricultural Extension Agent ; and
WHEREAS, Eagle County has furnished and continues to furnish
a substantial portion of the funds for the operation of the County
Agricultural Extension Service ; and
WHEREAS , the resignation of Mr. Kuntz has been summarily
forced by the State officials of the Extension Service on a pretext
not relating to the performance of his official duties;
• NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Eagle County that the Board does officially protest
the forced resignation of Samuel 0. Kuntz as Eagle County Agricultrual
Extension Agent and urges the Colorado State Board of Agriculture to
rescind its action accepting this resignation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Eagle County shall not parti-
cipate in any Agricultural Extension activities until and unless such
action is taken by the State Board of Agriculture.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a true copy of this resolution
shall be transmitted to the Chairman of the Colorado State Board of
Agriculture.
