WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Bonrd of County
Commissioners of the County of Earle and Stote of Colorado •
that application be made to the Bureau of Land Management of
the Department of the Interior of the Uaited States for land
for recreation and public purposes under the act of June 4,
1954 (68 Stat. 173; 43 U.S.C. 869) ,
IT 13 TREatOt RESOLIM that the County Clerk of
Eagle County shall make applioation to said Bureau for the
purchase or the following described lands situate in the County
of Eagle and State of Colorado, as provided. in said act, the
said lands to be used for the purposes of pistol and rifle
,...., shooting range, shotgun trap range, clubhouse and related .
facilities:
Beginning at a point on the West line of Lot 7,
Section 31, Township 4 South, Range 85 West of the 6th Prin-
cipal Meridian where the wOst line of Lot 7 intersects the
northerly right-iof-way line of US Highway No. 6 tr. :,24 from
whence Corner No. 2 of Tract 38 bears South 177.0 feet; thence
North 497.5 feet; thence North 0.12, West 511.2 feet; thence
Bast 600.0 feet; thence South 1098.09 feet to the said high-
way right-of-way line; thence along the said right-of-way
line on a curve to the left having a radius of 5855 feet, the
chord of which bears North 82.051 West 804.0 feet to the
place of beginning; containing 14.468 acres, more or less;
and that the fee for said application shall be paid out of
such funds of the County of Eagle as are available for such
purpose.
