RESOLUTION
of the
BOARD OF COUNTY COMISSIONERS OF THE
COUNTY OF EAGLE AND STATE OF COLORADO
WHEREAS, Due to high water and floods in the Spring and Summer
of the year 1957 a number of roads were damaged and especially
the washing out of certain bridges and the danger of the serious-
ly damaging of a number of bridges throughout the County and es-
pecially on the Roaring Fork River and tributaries to it , it has
been necessary to spend an unforeseen amount of money for the re-
pairing of the roads and bridges and the building of same and be-
cause of such severe damages to the Road Fund, also known as the
Road and Bridge Fund, has been somewhat depleted, and;
WHEREAS, The County Contigency Fund has a sufficient amount of
money to take care of contigency throughout the year of 1957.
It is deemed necessary at this time to transfer funds from the
Contigency Fund to the Road Fund, also known as the Road and
Bridge Fund.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of County Commissioners
111 of Eagle County, Colorado , at a regular meeting this 70 day of
October A.D. 1957, that the County Treasurer of Eagle County is
hereby authorized and requested to transfer from the Contigency
Fund of said County to the Road Fund, also known as the Road and
Bridge Fund, the sum of TWELVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS.
READ, CONSIDERED, PAS ;ED AND APPROVED this 70 day of October A. D.
1957.
