OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE AND STATE OF COLORADO

WHEREAS, the County Treasurer of Eagle County, Colo-
rado has in his possession certain United States Savings Bonds ,
Series "G" , dated July 7 , 1944, the principal becoming due and
payable twelve (12) years from the date thereof, said bonds
being numbered V48112G, V481113G and V481114G, in the principal
amount of FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($5,000.00) each,
or an aggregate principal sum of FIFTEEN THOUSAND AND NO/100
DOLLARS (015,000.00) ; and
WHEREAS, the said bonds became due and payable at
maturity date on July 7, 1956 ; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Com-
• missioners that these bonds be redeemed and the principal shall
be reinvested; and
WHEREAS, the above amounts represent funds and monies
of the County of Eagle , State of Colorado;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED That the Treasurer of Eagle
County, Colorado, be and he hereby is authorized to submit the
aforementioned bonds for redemption through The First National
Bank of Eagle County, Eagle , Colorado , to the Federal Reserve
Bank, Denver Branch.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED That the County Treasurer of
Eagle County, Colorado , upon the receipt of the principal amount
of the aforementioned bonds , being the sum of Fifteen Thousand
and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) , shall reinvest the said monies
• of Eagle County, Colorado in an amount not to exceed Fifteen
Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) in United States Savings
Bonds , Series "K" , in units of Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars

(05,000.00) each, all pursuant to Chapter 114 of the "Session
40 Laws of Colorado, 1944. "
READ, CONSIDEIED, PASSED AND APPROVED This 3rd day
of December, A. D. 1956.
