HomeMy WebLinkAboutR1951-03 Concerning Road Project Wolcott State Bridge Road 1 951 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF • EAGLE COUNTY, COLORADO WHEREAS, it is now the desire and has been the desire of the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado, to have the State Highway Department complete State Highway No. ll from Wolcott to State Bridge, and; WHEREAS, resolutions to that effect have been made to the State Highway Department and the State Advisory Board for years past, and; WHEREAS, certain parts and portions of said State Highway No. 11 have been completed; two of said projects having been contracted to the County of Eagle and one of said projects now completed and the other project now commenced. • THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Eagle County that they request the State Highway Department to make surveys and do all preliminary work necessary to be done by them for an additional project to be commenced upon the finishing of the project now under construction and known as S 0121 (12) ; such project to be a participating project, cost approximately $40,000.00, and to commence at the station where State Highway Project S 0121 (5) Unit One ended and continue from that point approximately two miles north; Eagle Countyts partici- pation to be in the sum of $10,000.00, under proper agreement to be entered into when the project is ready for construction and esti- mates of cost are obtained. READ, CONSIDERED, PASSED AND APPROVED this 2nd day of 411 July, A. D. 1951.
