RESOLUTION N0: 14'7 -- 17
ZONE DISTRICT AMENDMENT - West Vail
FILE NO. - west Vail Annexation
WHEREAS, Eagle County did file an application with
the Eagle County Department of Community Development on or
about January 15, 1986, to zone the herein described property
in Eagle County to the Resource Zone District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
on February 25, 1986; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exhibits,
study of the Piaster Plan for the unincorporated areas of
Eagle County, comments of the
Community Development, commen
agencies, the recommendations
Commission, and comments from
Board of County Commissioners
of Colorado, finds as follows

all interested parties, the
of the County of Eagle, State
1. That proper publication and public notice was
provided as required by law for the hearing before the
Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners.

2. That the proposed zoning is consistent with the
Master Plan.
3. That the area in question possesses the geological,
physical and other environmental conditions compatible with the
characteristics of the use requested.
4. That the advantages of the use requested outweigh
the disadvantages.
5. That the area for which the rezoning is requested
has changed or is changing to such a degree that it is in the
public interest to encourage a new use or density in the area.
6. That the proposed rezoning is necessary in order
to provide land for a demonstrated community need.
7. That for the above stated reasons, the proposed
zoning is in the best interest of the health, safety, order,
convenience, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Eagle
County, Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT the petition of Eagle County, file - West Vail
Annexation, for a zoning amendment to the Resource Zone District
be and is hereby approved for the following described property
located in the unincorporated area of Eagle County:
See attached for legal description.
THAT the Board of County Commissioners directs the
Director of the Department of Community Development to enter
this amendment on the appropriate page of the Official District
Map and record the change in the office of the Eagle County
Clerk and Recorder.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at

by Reception No. 202794 and Book 306 at Page 411 of the Eagle County,
Colorado Records.
All of Tracts B and C of the Final Plat, Highland Meadows, Eagle
County, Colorado as recorded by Reception No. 167543, Book 271,
Page 144 of the _Eagle _County, Colorado Records.
All of Lots 8, 15 and 16, Block 10 of the Vail Intermountain
Development Subdivision, Block 10, Final Plat as recorded by
Reception No. 172869, Book 276, Page 459 of the Eagle County,

All that portion of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter

Meridian lying northwesterly of U.S. Interstate 70 Highway.
