/
WHEREAS, the County of Eagle, State of Colorado,
• purchased the following described property on the 6th day of February,
1931, from J. E. Ullmann, to-wit:
A part of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
(NWWSE4) of Section Thirty-two (32) , Township Four (4)
South, Range Eighty-four (84) west of the Sixth ( 6th)
Principal Meridian, being a part of Tract No. Sixty-eight
(68) of said Township and Range as designated by the
Independent Resurvey of said Township and Range approved
June 20, 1922 and accepted June 6, 1923, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows,
to-wit :
Beginning at Corner No. Four (4) of said Tract No. 68,
thence North 89°30' East, along the North boundary of said
Tract No. 68, 525 feet; thence South 0° 17' East 639 feet
to the center of the Eagle River; thence westerly and
southerly along the center of The Eagle River to the South
boundary of said Tract No. 68; thence South 89° 27' West 204
feet to Corner No. Five ( 5) of said Tract No. 68; thence
North 00°17' West 1233.76 feet to the point of beginning.
Together with a right of way Forty (40) feet in width for

ingress and egress to and from the said above described
lands , the center line of said right of way being more
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at a point on the East boundary of said parcel
hereinabove conveyed, whence the Northeast Corner (NE 'or. )
of said parcel hereinabove conveyed bears North 0° 17' West
348.86 feet ; thence South 85°28' East 300.0 feet ; thence
South 50°22' East 306.5 feet; thence South 57°44' East 84.0
feet; thence South 79°06' East 159.5 feet to the center of
the County Road; said parcel of land and right of way abode
described contain a total area of 11.2 acres, more or less .
for the purposes 'particularly of having a gravel pit, and;
WHEREAS, at the present time said property is not in use
as a gravel pit, and;
WHEREAS, the County of Eagle also obtained from J. E.
Ullman by Warranty Deed in addition to the land used for a gravel pit,
a right of way of forty feet in width for the purpose of ingress and
411 egress over certain land described in said deed connecting with the
county road up Eby Creek, and;
WHEREAS, said road and a road traversing a part of the
gravel pit could be used by the public generally across said gravel

pit and to the so-called Eby Creek road.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED By the Board of County Commissioners
of Eagle County at a regular meeting held in Eagle in the County of
Eagle on this 4th day of March A. D. 1946 that a revocable license be,
and herebyis granted to the public generally to traverse said gravel
pit and use said road and in addition thereto construct a road at the
expense of any users thereof across said gravel pit; that this license
so granted is a revocable license and can be revoked by the Board of
County Commissioners at their pleasure.
