Home My WebLink AboutR1944-03 Investing Funds in Govt Bonds as RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE AND STATE OF COLORADO WHEREAS, under the terms and conditions of Chapter 114 of the Session Laws of Colorado, 1941, it is found that the County 0 Treasurer of Eagle County has funds and moneys which in the opinion of the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County could well be and should be invested in bonds of the United States, and; WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Eagle County, Colorado, have in the past advised the Treasurer to so invest the funds and moneys of whatsoever kind that shall come into his posses- sion by virtue of his office as such Bounty Treasurer in, bonds of the United States, and; WHEREAS, it is believed advisable at this time to authorize the Treasurer of Eagle County, Colorado, to invest an additional Twenty Five Thousand Dollars (425,000) of the funds and moneys in the possession of the County Treasurer by virtue of his office as 410 such County Treasurer in bonds of the United States. IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED THAT the County Treasurer shall invest the funds and money of the County of Eagle in the sum of Twenty Five Thousand Dollars (425,000) , Fifteen Thousand Dollars (415,000) to be invested in Series "G" bonds of the United States of America and Ten Thousand Dollars (4010,000) to be invested in series "C" bonds of the United States of America. Read, considered, passed and approved this 3rd day of July A. D. 1944.
