Box 1013 Edwards, CO 81632 Dear Peggy &n Walt: RE- Inspectlon of Septic System Installation Lot 3, Block 3, Lake Creek Meadows Eagle County, Colorado Project No. 98128 - Permit No.1817-98 At the request of Marteen from Vanderwalker Constraction, on December 9 and 10, 1998, we visited the construction site on Lot 3, Block 3, Lake Creek My 6dows, Eagle County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visit was to observe tho installation of the. septic sy4am. They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic.system design, Thawing No. 98128SD.DWG, dated August 26, 1998. The system was installed as shown on the as -built sketch, provided by the installer. From the house to the tank was 31 feet. TheyTnstalled one, 2000-gallon, two compartments, a precast, concrete septic tank. The tank had 7-foot risats above each of the two openings. From the tank to the first Infiltrator trench was about 55 feet. Thirty-six Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in four trenches. The first trench had 6 standard infiltrators, the second and third had 12 each, and the''fourth had 6. The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution. In the last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were installed. Horizontal distance from center to center of the trenches, was 9 feet or more. All piping was SDR-3 5, 4- inch PVC. The depth of the treadles was one to three feet. Tlm soil profile in the trenches was consistent with the soil described in the profile hole.
