of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 87- S
RESOLUTION CONCERNING ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 87- 3 , the Board
of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (hereinafter the "Board "), made certain necessary
administrative appointments and designations; and
WHEREAS, the Board now desires to make a number of
additional appointments of Eagle County representatives to
certain commissions and boards. ,
WHEREAS, the following appointments and designations do
not constitute contractual obligations of the County of Eagle
nor of the Board; and the County and the Board are not legally
bound for the respective terms of appointment or designation
as specified hereinbelow, the County, by and through the
Board, having the authority, in its sole discretion, to
change, add, and abolish such appointments and designations
and to fill vacancies therefor as it sees fit.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:
THAT, Commissioner Richard L. Gustafson be and is hereby
elected Chairman to the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado, for the term commencing
January 13, 1987, and expiring the first regular public
meeting of the Board in fiscal year 1988, in accordance with
§ 30 -10 -307, C.R.S.
THAT, Commissioner George A. Gates be and is hereby
appointed Eagle County representative to the Northwest Colora-
do Council of Governments for a one -year term commencing
January 1, 1987, and ending December 31, 1987, with Commis-
sioner Donald H. Welch being hereby appointed to serve as the
alternate representative for a like term in the event Commis-
sioner Gates is unable to attend any given meeting or function
or do any act required of the Eagle County representative to
said Council.
THAT, Commissioner Richard L. Gustafson be and is hereby
appointed the Eagle County representative to the Forest
Service High Country /Pine Beetle Council for the term commenc-
ing January 1, 1987, and ending the first regular public
meeting day of the Board in fiscal year 1988.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines, and declares
that this Resolution is necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare of the residents of County of Eagle, State
of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its
regular meeting held the day of January, 1987.
