WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "Board ") desires to purchase
computer equipment (a disk drive), for the County Assessor's
office; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned expenditure was not anticipated
at the time of the adoption of the 1988 budget, and thus revenues
were not appropriated for the payment of the same; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to reappropriate and transfer
certain funds in the amount of $2,500 from the General Fund,
Account E 0101010033210000, to the Capital Expenditures Fund,
Account # 0601010099420000, in order to meet the expenditure of
purchasing computer equipment for the Eagle County Assessor's
office; and
WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to reappropriate and
transfer from one County Fund to another monies needed for
expenditures by authorizing a budget transfer, pursuant to 9 29 -1-
111.5, C.R.S.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
`THAT, the Board hereby authorizes a reappropriation and
transfer of $2,500 previously showing in the 1988 Eagle County
Budget under the County General Fund to the Capital Expenditures
Fund.
THAT, the Treasurer of the County of Eagle is hereby
requested and directed to take all action necessary to effectuate
the intent of this Resolution.
THAT, pursuant to 5 29- 1- 111.5, C.R.S., this Resolution, as
proposed, has been published in full one time in a newspaper having
general circulation within the territorial limits of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado.
THAT, the Eagle County Budget officer is hereby requested and
directed to immediately transmit an original or certified copy of
this Resolution to the affected spending agencies and the officer
or employee of the County of Eagle whose duty it is to draw
warrants or orders for the payment of money.
THAT, the Eagle County Budget Officer is hereby further
requested and directed to file an original or certified copy of
this Resolution with the Division of Local Governments in the
Department of Local Affairs.
THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
