of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 88- 15-
RESOLUTION CONCERNING APPOINTMENT
OF EAGLE COUNTY SURVEYOR
WHEREAS, on or about November 2, 1986 an election was held to fill the
position of Eagle County Surveyor; and
WHEREAS, on January 13, 1987, B. James Burk, being duly elected, took
office as Eagle County Surveyor; and
WHEREAS, B. James Burk resigned from office effective April 9,1988; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30 -10 -904, C.R.S., the Board of County
Commissioners of Eagle County, State of Colorado (hereinafter the "Board"), in
the event of a vacancy of office, is empowered to appoint some suitable person
to perform the duties of the office of the office until a county surveyor is
elected; and
WHEREAS, the Board has received and reviewed applications submitted by
persons desiring to fill the position of Eagle County Surveyor and wishes to make
an appointment of the Eagle County Surveyor at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, pursuant to Section 30 -10 -904, C.R.S., Dan Corcoran be and is hereby
appointed as Eagle County Surveyor for the remainder of the term left vacant by
B. James Burk, and is to take office upon filing his oath and bond in the office
of Eagle County Clerk and Recorder as required by law.
THAT, the Board hereby finds, determines, and declares that this Resolution
is necessary for the public health safety and welfare of the residents of the
County of Eagle, State of Colorado.

AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the 23rd
