Description of public project in which the recycled tire product(s) will be used: The scrap tire chips will be utilized as the leachate drainage laver material for Waste Disposal Module 4 of the Eagle Counts Landfill. Eagle County Landfill was approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment on March 24, 2000 to incorporate this modification into the engineering design and operations plan for this facility. The modified design will utilize a minimum of a ten (10) inch thick layer of tire chips for the drainage laver of the leachate collection system. Location(s) they will be used: Chipped scrap tires will be utilized as the leachate drainage laver material for Waste Disposal Module 4, Eagle County Landfill, 2250 Highway 131, Wolcott, CO 81655. Estimated unit cost of recycled tire product(s): $7.17 per cubic yard Estimated total cost of your purchase: The estimated cost of the project is approximately $44,454. ($7.17/yd3)(6,200 yd3) = $44,454 Estimated number of waste tires you will use when you purchase this product: Approximately_ 341,000 waste tires will be utilized for this project. [(6,200 cubic yards)(55 tires/cubic yard) = 341,000 tires].
