HomeMy WebLinkAboutC23-133 Bent County Sheriff's OfficeBILL OF SALE, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT THIS BILL OF SALE, ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is made and executed on _______________ by the Bent County Sheriff’s Office (“Bent County”) and Eagle County Fleet Services (“Eagle County”). WITNESSETH WHEREAS, Eagle County elected to sell to Bent County, 1 – 2017 Dodge Charger police surplus vehicle that has outlived its useful life for day-to-day Eagle County Sheriff’s Operations; and WHEREAS, Bent County has agreed to purchase the vehicle for $11,000; and WHEREAS, Eagle County is willing to deliver title and Bent County is willing to assume the same for the payment, acknowledgements and indemnification agreement set forth hereunder. BILL OF SALE Eagle County, in consideration of the acknowledgment and indemnification agreement contained herein and payment of $11,000 for the “Vehicle” (Eagle County Fleet Unit #8856 (VIN: 2C3CDXKT9HH572357), receipt of payment acknowledged, does hereby transfer to Bent County, title to the vehicle to have and to hold. NOW, THEREFORE, Bent County acknowledges the following: 1. That Vehicle is being delivered in “as is” condition. Bent County understands that Eagle County makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the fitness of the vehicle for any particular use; 2. Bent County has received from Eagle County, maintenance records of the vehicles and understands that Eagle County makes no representation regarding the completeness of said records; and 3. Bent County will, at all times, operate the vehicle in a lawful manner including maintaining adequate insurance coverage during its operation and use.
