Permit No. 1508-95 Tax Parcel #2105-361-00-001
Property Location: "Taters" facility at the top of
Chair Lift 12, Beaver Creek Mountain.
Enclosed is your ISDS Permit No. 1508-95 is valid for 120 days.
The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the
installation site. Any changes in plans or specifications
invalidates the permit unless otherwise approved. Please call
our office well in advance for the final inspection.
Systems designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be
certified by the Engineer indicating that the system was
installed as specified. Eagle County does not perform final
inspections on engineer designed systems. Engineer as builts must
be submitted for permit to be finalized and C.O. issued.
Permit specifications are minimum requirements only, and should
be brought to the property owner's attention.
This permit does not indicate conformance -with other Eagle County
requirements.

RE: "Taters" Facility at the top of Chair 12, Beaver Creek.
It has come to our ,attention, that your company has installed an
Individual Sewage Disposal System (ISDS) on the above referenced
property. This particular ISDS has not yet been permitted for
alteration/construction.
4.03.29, Eagle County Land Use Regulations states: "Any person who
commits any of the following acts or violates any of the provisions
of this Article commits a Class I Petty Offense as. defined in
Section 18-1-107, C.R.S. 1973 as amended:
1. Constructs, alters, installs, or permits the use of any
individual sewage disposal system without first having applied for
and received a permit as provided in these Regulations
2. Constructs, alters, or installs an individual sewage
disposal system in a manner which involves a knowing and material
variation from the terms or specifications contained in the
application or permit...."
Consider this your only warning. Any further violations will
result in the revocation of your ISDS License for Eagle County, and
may be turned over to the attorney's office for civil and/or
criminal proceedings. 'If you have any questions, feel free to call

Potato Bar Septic System
Mr. Merry:
A "potato bar" is planned to be located at the top of chair 12, Beaver Creek. Pre -baked
potatoes are to be delivered to a small shop where the potatoes will be kept warm until sold.
Condiments such as cheese, chives, onions, sour cream, etc. will be prepared off -site and
offered with the potatoes. Soft drinks may be served. No restroom facilities are proposed. A
restroom exists within 200' (+/-) of the site, which is currently a holding tank. The holding
tank is not big enough to handle additional effluent from the potatoe bar sink_ The facility is
to be operated during the ski season, and less than 6 month per year.
Approximately 25 gallons ofwateris to be hauled to the site to be used to wash out the
serving dishes and for employee hand washing. it is proposed to dispose of the wastewater
generated from the dish washing and hand washing on -site by means of a conventional septic
system.
Percolation Tests, Soil Profile IIole
Percolation tests and the observation of the soil pofile hole have not yet been completed.
Snow currently covers the site, and the area is in an elk calving area so that percolation tests
will not be possible to be completed before July 1, 1995.
It is desired to obtain U.S. Forest Service review and Eagle County alll& approval of the
design concept of the septic system, and follow up with technical design upon U.S. Forest
Service approval off is ues.
Until actual percolation tests are completed, a conservative value of 60 minutes per inch will
be used. A soil profile inspection will be performed to verify suitable soil conditions for a
septic system.
