Home My WebLink About2023 ERFPD Notice of Cancellation of Election NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF REGULAR ELECTION BY THE DESIGNATED ELECTION OFFICIAL FOR THE EAGLE RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Eagle River Fire Protection District, Eagle County, Colorado, that at the close of business on February 28, 2023 there were not more candidates for Director than offices to be filled, including candidates filing affidavits of intent to be write-in candidates; and NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the Board of Directors has withdrawn Ballot Issue A; therefore, the election to be held on May 2, 2023, is hereby cancelled. The following candidate is declared elected: John Halloran elected to a Four-Year Term for Director District 1. There were no candidates for the Two-Year Term for Director District 2. There were no candidates for the Four-Year Term for Director Districts 3 and 5.
