Home My WebLink AboutR90-131 designating meeting, office hours, holidays for fiscal year 1991Commissioner moved adoption of the following Resolutio.: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 90 -131 DESIGNATING MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, OFFICE HOURS AND LEGAL HOLIDAYS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, FOR FISCAL YEAR 1991 WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30 -10 -303, C.R.S., the Board of CoWnty Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado ( "Board ") , desires to establish and publish a schedule of the Board' s regular public meeting days for fiscal year 1991; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30 -10 -109, C.R.S., the Board further desires to establish the days and office hours of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, for fiscal year 1991, whereupon all County offices shall be kept open for the transaction of County business; and WHEREAS, the Board further desires to establish legal holidays for Fiscal Year 1991, during which all County offices shall be closed; and WHEREAS, the 1987 Personnel Policy, as amended, provides that the Board determine on a year -by -year basis the legal holidays for which County employees shall be paid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT, the Board hereby designate and adopt those dates designated as holidays in the attached Exhibit A as County legal holidays for Fiscal Year 1991, whereupon all County offices shall be officially closed for the transaction of County business. THAT, the Board determine that said legal holidays be paid holidays for eligible Eagle County employees. THAT, except for said legal holidays, all County offices be kept open for the transaction of County business during the hours of 8:00 a.m, through 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday of each respective week in Fiscal Year 1991. THAT, notwithstanding the foregoing, all Clerks of the Court and the Sheriff be subject at all times to the command of the people, and shall at all hours, night and day, be prepared to attend such duties as may reasonably be required of them. t THAT, the Board hereby establish and adopt the schedule of the Board's regular public meeting days for Fiscal Year 1991 as set forth in the attached Exhibit B. THAT, until further notice, such regular public meetings of the Board be held in the Board of Co =mmissioners' meeting room located in the modular annex to the Court House Building, 551 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado. 'HAT, the Board may hold such special or emergency meetings and adopt such publication procedure therefor as the public interest may, in the opinion of the Board, require. TEAT copies of Exhibits A and B be forthwith transmitted for Publication to all newspapers of general circulation in the County of Eagle, Colorado, and appropriately posted at County government buildings throughout the county. THAT, the 'Board find, determine and declare that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens and residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
