Enclosed is your ISDS Permit #2235A-02, and afield copy of the engineer design stipulated on
the permit. It is valid for 120. days, or for the duration of your current building permit for this
property. The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the installation site. Any changes
in plans or specifications invalidates the permit unless otherwise approved. Please note any
special requirements that may have been added to the design by this department.
Systems designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be certified by the Engineer
indicating that the system was installed as specified. Eagle County Environmental Health
must also view the installation prior to back filling. Please call well in advance for your
final inspection. Your TCO will not be issued until our office receives this certification
from the engineer, and views the installation.`
Permit specifications are minimum requirements only, and should be brought to the property
owner's attention.
This permit does not indicate conformance with other Eagle County requirements. Please
notify this office if you have not been contracted to perform this installation.

Dear Mike -
At the request of ,Bill Stenson, of Stepson Excavating, on October 31., 2002, we visited
the construction site on Lot 5, South Forty Filing No. 1, 0525 Lariat Loop, Eagle County,
Colorado. The. p rnofip, of our site visits was to observe the installation of the septic system.
They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No.
0 1. 1. 82SD.DWG, dated November 23, 2001. The sysu rp was installed as shown on the attached sketch -
Thirty -six, infiltrator chambers were installed infour trenches. The .first trench had six infiltrators and the
other three trenches had 10 infiltrators each. Horizontal distance was 12 feet from center to center of the
first two trenches, and 9 feet between the other trenches. Inspection posts were installed in each. end of all.
trenches. Since they had to overexcavate additional six inches to get below the original gravel layer of
the old. leachfield, the depth of the trenches was 40 inches.

You can use the following specifications to solicit bids for
the addition to your leachfield:

1. one 4 inch diversion valve
This diversion valve will be placed between the septic
tank and the existing leachfield.
2. 200 lineal feet of standard leach trench.
2 to 3 feet wide and 2 to 3 feet deep.
The proper, depth is determined during excavation.
The length of the trench may be adjusted downward to 100
feet, depending on the site limitations.
1 foot of gravel in the trench, if the length of the
trench is reduced to less than 160 feet,'an additional 6
inches of gravel should be added to the trench.
Four, inch perferated pipe the length of the trench with
end caps. An inspection pipe on each end of the trench is
recommended. (See attached diagrams)
Care must be taken to protect the existing leachfield during
construction.
3. 160 lineal feet of 10 inch SB2 gravelless leach tube may
be substituted for the above standard trench specification.

Disposal System Regulations, adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104,
C.R.S. 1973, as amended.
2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied
with County zoning and building requirements. Connection to or use with any

automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both
legal action and revocation of the permit.
3. Section III, 3.21 requires any person who constructs, alters, or installs an

All water and sewage disposal system loan inspections are
done under -the authority of the Eagle County Building Regulations,
Section 10, Sub -paragraph 3-A, adopted by the Eagle County Commissioners,
September 20, 1982.
An onsite inspection of the sewage disposal system on
February 21, 1986 revealed that the system is.functioning properly
with no apparent problems. This system was installed and approved
under ISDS Permit #659 on August 39, 1984. It is suggested that
individual sewage disposal systems be pumped every three to four
years.
Water is supplied by Edwards Metro District.
Enclosed is an invoice in the amount of $25.00, the fee for
this loan inspection. ,

Dear Ms. White House:
All loan inspections are completed under the authority of the
Eagle County Building Resolution, Section 3.09.03, A(7), adopted
by the Eagle County Commissioners on October 8, 1985.
On September 12, 1991, this department conducted a site
inspection of the above referenced property. The inspection was
requested by you for the purpose of evaluating the existing
condition of the on -site wastewater disposal and water supply
systems.
A review of the County records indicates that:
On August 30, 1984, the sewage disposal system was permitted
under Permit Number 659, inspected and approved in accordance
with County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations. The system
consists of a 1250 gallon septic tank and 1200 square feet of
absorption area. A visual inspection of the ground surface
indicated that the system is apparently functioning
satisfactorily at this time. Obviously, this does not guarantee
the continued satisfactory performance of the system.
The water supply to this residence is from Edwards Metropolitan
Water District, a community water system. The community water
system is inspected on a regular basis by the Colorado Department
of Health and to the best of our knowledge compiles with current
drinking water standards.
