Till, - purpose of our site visit was to observe tho installation of the septic system. They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No. 02196SD.DWG, dated November 11, 200 . They installed a 1500-gallon, three compartments, precast, concrete, septic tank. In the last compartan nt of the septic tank, they will install a duplex pump. The pump was sized to have four doses with 2 5 gallons per dose. The dosing, the floats function and the alarms will be installed and tested at a lat r date and a letter will be submitted to us and to the eagle County Environmental Wealth Deptartmen . The pump speeoativaas must be verGd with the undersigned engineer. There were three access openings Dn the tank. Building sewer lines were connected to the septic tank from two locations on the building, al shown on the attached as -built sketch. Total length of the building sewer line from the house to the septic tank was about 235 feet. Cleanouts were installed at each exit point near the house, and along the line as shown n the sketch. The effluent line from the pump tank to the first infiltrator of the top trench was a total distance of 140 feet. The effluent litre was 3-inch diameter sch40 PVC. Sixty-five, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in five trenches, as shown on the attached sketch. The highest trench on the uphill side had fifteen infiltrators and it had a perforated pipe suspended from the top of the chambers. The next two trenches had 14 infiltrators each, the fourth trench had twelve and the last trench had ten infiltrators. The infiltrators were ooaaeoted with serial distribution. In the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were installed. Horizontal distance from center to center of the trenches, was 9 feet or more. The depth of the trenches was no inore than 36 inches. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. Sinoerely, e) . LuizaPer av'ka, PE "Ap r.
