Board Meetings
The Board meets the 2"d Wednesday of each month at the District Office, 227 Midland Ave., Unit C-2,
Basalt, Colorado at 5 pm. Notice of Board meetings are posted on the Website for the District and the
District Office Front Door.
Mill Levy
The District's current mill levy is 1.080. The total ad valorem tax received by the District in 2023 was
$130,200.
Elections
The date of the next regular special district election at which directors will be elected is May 02, 2022.
Persons interested in self -nominating for district director must file self nomination and acceptance form with
the designated election official not less than 67 days before the date of the regular election, pursuant to
CRS 1-13.5-303.
Results of elections will be posted on the website of the Colorado Secretary of State (www.sos.state. co. us);
and the District's Website (www.basaltsanitation.ora)
Applications for absentee voting or for permanent absentee voter status are available from and must be
returned to the Designated Election Official at 227 Midland Ave, Suite C2, Basalt CO 81621.
