The construction appeared to be in conformance with the intent of the design;. However, the absorption area was located farther up the hill than expected. We doubt if this should be a problem as the absorption area is located - approximately between the two previous percolation tests, and based on those tests, we would expect the percolation rate to be between five and fifteen minutes per inch. We believe that this should be acceptable and suggest the following. Probably, a double row of units placed on the old cut would work easily. Note that they must be placed on a leveled area, and the road bed area of the out should be plowed to facilitate absorption and counter the compaction of the read bed by previous traffic. we have enclosed details of a typical bed crass -section; an .inspection well, and some standard notes for an infiltrator bed. other general notes on the previous design plan will still apply.
