BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLIITION NO. 90-
CONCERNING APPOINTMENT TO THE BASALT REGIONAL
LIBRARY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, two vacancies have occurred on the Board of Trustees
of the Basalt Regional Library District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado, is empowered by ~ 24-90-108, C.R.S., to
appoint a library trustee to fill a vacancy of that office; and
WHEREAS, said Board of Trustees has recommended Kem Curtis and
Barbara Forrest be appointed to fill said vacancies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT Barbara Forrest be and is hereby appointed Trustee to the
Basalt Regional Library Board to fill the office previously held
by Mildred Remsbecher, for the remaining term to expire March 1,
1991.
THAT Kem Curtis be and is hereby appointed to the heretofore
unfilled position of Trustee to the Basalt Regional Library Board,
for a term expiring March 1, 1992.
THAT, the Board finds, determines and declares that this
Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare
of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held the day of January, 1990.
