HomeMy WebLinkAboutR90-005 Forest Reserve Fund Revenue Distribution Commissioner ,� moved adoption of the following Resoluti BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 90-5 TRANSFERRING AND DISTRIBUTING REVENUES FROM THE COUNTY FOREST RESERVE FUND, FISCAL YEAR 1989 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the Board "), has received the sum of $238,207.60 in Fiscal Year 1989 pursuant to the provisions of the Act of Congress of May 23, 1908, relating to receipts from National Forests; and WHEREAS, the Board has also received an additional sum of $1,195.15 from State land and materials sales; and WHEREAS, the Treasurer of Eagle County has placed said revenues in a special County fund designated as the "Forest Reserve Fund;" and WHEREAS, the Board is directed by Section 30-29 -101, C.R.S., to allocate the money received from the State Treasurer pursuant to the provisions of said statute to the County Road and Bridge Fund and the School Districts in Eagle County, and WHEREAS, the County's portion of such funds were budgeted and appropriated to the Road and Bridge Fund by the Annual Budget and Appropriation previously adopted for Fiscal Year 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO: THAT the Treasurer of Eagle County is requested and directed to transfer ninety -five percent (95 %) of said $238,207.60 received in Fiscal Year 1989, or $226,297.22, from the Forest Reserve Fund to the County Road and Bridge Fund. THAT the Treasurer of Eagle County is further requested and directed to allocate the remaining five percent (5 %) of said $238,207.60, or $11,910.38, from the Forest Reserve Fund to each of the public school districts in Eagle County (Roaring Fork RE- 1, RE -50J, and West Grand District 1) according to the ratio which the average daily pupil attendance of each district bears to the aggregate average daily pupil attendance in all districts in Eagle County during said preceding school year. THAT the Treasurer of Eagle County is also requested and directed to transfer the additional monies received from the State of Colorado in the amount of $1,195.15, from the Forest Reserve Fund to the County Road and Bridge Fund. THAT the County Budget Director is hereby directed to deliver a copy of this Resolution to the Eagle County Treasurer and any other designated employees of Eagle County whose duties include the transfer of funds. THAT the County Budget Director is further directed to deliver an original or certified copy of this Resolution to the Division of Local Governments, State of Colorado. THAT the Board hereby finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the public health, welfare and safety of the County of Eagle, Colorado.
