HomeMy WebLinkAboutR91-110 1992 fiscal year budget for office of District AttorneyCommissioner 0 moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 91 —/() IN RE THE MATTER OF APPROVING THE 1992 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE OFFICE OF DISTRICT ATTORNEY, FIFTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT, STATE OF COLORADO. WHEREAS, C.R.S. 29 -1 -110, as amended, requires the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter the "Board "), to adopt a budget setting forth the expenditures of the various county offices, departments, boards, commissions, and other spending agencies for fiscal year 1992, beginning January 1, 1992, and ending December 31, 1992; and WHEREAS, public meetings on the proposed 1992 budget for the County of Eagle were held November 6, 7, and 12, 1991; and WHEREAS, the Board has made provisions within the 1992 budget for the Office of the District Attorney, Fifth Judicial District, State of Colorado, of which Eagle County is a part, in the amount of $313,482.00, exclusive of additional revenue the District Attorney may collect, representing a five and a half per cent increase from the approved 1991 budget; and WHEREAS, C.R.S. 20 -1 -302, the District Attorney is entitled to collect and receive the necessary expenses of maintaining an office for the transactions of his official business, in part from Eagle County; and WHEREAS, all legal requirements have been fully complied with and performed in the premises. j Commissioner 0 moved adoption of the following Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 91 —/() IN RE THE MATTER OF APPROVING THE 1992 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE OFFICE OF DISTRICT ATTORNEY, FIFTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT, STATE OF COLORADO. THAT, the share of said budget to be paid by Eagle County shall be as follows: 1. District Attorney Salary $ 17,410 2. Staff & Operating Budget 296,072 TOTAL $313,482 THAT, James R. Fritze, the Eagle County Budget Officer, is hereby requested and directed to immediately transmit a copy of this Resolution to the officer or employee of the County of Eagle whose duty it is to draw warrants or orders for the payment of money. THAT, this Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
