CONDITIONS:
1. All installations must comply with all requirements of the Eagle County Individual Sewage Disposal System
Regulations, adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104, C.R.S. 1973, as amended.
2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County zoning and building
requirements. Connection to or use with any dwelling or structure not approved by the zoning and building
departments shall automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both legal action and
revocation of the permit.
3. Section III, 3.21 requires any person who constructs, alters or installs an Individual Sewage Disposal System to
be licensed according to the regulations.

Dear Mr. Fox:
Enclosed please find the site plan of our above property
indicating the proposed location of the house and the proposed
location of the septic system. Please note that the scale is
now 1" = 50' instead of 1" = 100' as originally planned. The
company that duplicated our plat map decided to make this
change without our knowledge. We trust that this will not
cause you any difficulties. In addition, we have enclosed a
small copy of the plat map of the subdivision which will show
you the location of our lot.
We have outlined the proposed house location with stakes
that have been spraypainted with an orange flourescent paint.
We have outlined the proposed location of the leach field with
four stakes that have flaging tape attached to them. Hopefully
this will make your job a little easier. The 10 gallons of
water you may need are next to the stake indicating the septic
tank.
Also enclosed is our Application For Tndividual Sewage
Disposal System Permit and our check of $50.00 for the
percolation test fee. If you have any questions regarding the
enclosed materials, please feel free to call my husband, Bill
Weir, at #92.5-4262. As per our phone conversation today, you
will be calling us (24 hours in advance) to advise which date
you will doing the test in order that we may fill the test
holes with water.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Weir,
The following design criteria will be required for the above referenced
individual sewage disposal system.
1. 1000 gallon septic tank
2. 975 square feet of leach field
The leach field should be installed two feet deep rather than the con-
vential three feet deep. The reason for the shallow leach field is because
of the tight soils. The percolation rate is relatively slow (approximately
40 MPI), therefore the shallow leachfield will improve evapotranspiration
of the sewage effluent. You should avoid compaction of the leachfield area
durina and after construction.
This office will issue an installation permit upon receipt of the $150.00
permit application fee. You may not start construction of the Individual Sewage
Disposal System until the permit is issued.

RE: Sewage disposal inspection for property located at 0750 Kings Row

Dear Mrs. Weir,
All loan inspections are completed under the authority of the Eagle
County Building Resolution, Section 3.09.03, A (7), adopted by the Eagle
County Commissioners on October 8, 1985.
On October 13, 1987, this department conducted a site inspection
of the above referenced property. The inspection was requested by you
for the purpose of evaluating the existing condition of the on -site
wastewater disposal.
A review of the County records indicates that the sewage disposal
system was permitted under Permit Number 776, inspected and approved
in accordance with County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations. A
visual inspection of the ground surface indicated that the sewage
disposal system was apparently functioning satisfactorily at the time
of inspection.

In a conversation today with Eric Dean of your office, I was
advised that the cost for a loan inspection on our property would
be $125.00. I am enclosing my check in that amount herewith.
Our permanent loan on this property has finally been
approved by the Veterans Administration; however, Alpine Mortgage
in Glenwood Springs will not lock in our interest rate and points
until they have the loan inspection on our septic system in their
hands. As you are aware, the rates seem to be skyrocketing daily
and we are terribly concerned with the time element. If we had
known this inspection was necessary, we would have contacted you
weeks ago.
We would greatly appreciate your making this inspection as
soon as possible. If we can expedite this matter, or assist you
in whatever way possible, please let us know.

Since my original correspondence to you, dated September 5, 1986, I have
been informed that specific individual sewage disposal system plans and speci-
fications were developed when the Kings Row Subdivision was platted. Therefore,
please disregard the previous individual sewage disposal specifications that I
sent you. I have enclosed the plans and specifications that were developed for
Lot #16, Filing #2. You should use the enclosed plans when you are planning
the installation of your sewage disposal system. I have enclosed two copies of
the plans because of the poor quality of the copy. Certain deviations from the
plans may be approved, but you should check with me prior to the purchase of
materials.
