1. All installation must comply with all requirements of the County Individual Sewage
Disposal System Regulations, adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104,
C.R.S. 1973, as amended.
2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied
with County zoning and building requirements. Connection to or use with any
dwelling or structure not approved by the building and zoning departments shall
automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both
legal action and revocation of the permit.
3. Section III, 3.21 requires any person who constructs, alters, or installs an
individual sewage disposal system to be licensed according to the Regulations.

County Individual Sewage Disposal System Regulations until the installed system is
approved prior to covering any part.

Enclosed is your ISDS Permit #2220-02, and a field copy of the engineer design stipulated on the
permit. It is valid for 120 days, or for the duration of your current building permit: for this
property. The enclosed copy of the permit must be posted at the installation site. Any changes
in plans or specifications invalidates the permit unless otherwise approved. Please note any
special requirements that may have been added to the design by this department.
Systems designed by a Registered Professional Engineer must be certified by the Engineer
indicating that the system was installed as specified. Eagle County Environmental Health
must also view the installation prior to back filling. Please call well in advance for your
final inspection. Your TCO will not be issued until our office receives this certification
from the engineer, and views the installation.
Permit specifications are minimum requirements only, and should be brought to the property
owner's attention.
This permit does not indicate conformance with other Eagle County requirements. Please
notify this office if you have not been contracted to perform this installation.

At the request of Mx. Steve Jewett of ,arena F=,avating, on August 7 and 19, 2002, we visited the
construction site at the Stone Douse at Casteel Creep Ranch, 385 Ridge Road, Eagle County,
Colorado. The purpose of our site visit was to inspect the installation of the septic system.
They installed the system: in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No.
02098SD.DWG, dated. August 5, 2002. They installed a 1500-gallon, two compartments, precast,
concrete septic tank. The septic tank had "T's" in both compartments. A cleanout is to be installed
between the house and the septic tank, and pictures will be provided to Laura Fawcett of the Eagle
County Environmental Health Department.
Fifty five, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in six trenches with 8 i ifiltrators in the
first trench, 9 in the second trench, 11 in the third trench, 11 in the fourth trench, 11 in the fifth trench and
5 in the; sixth treneb. The infiltmtors in treacbes 2 and 3 were split after the fifth and fourth infiltrators,
respectively, due to large rocks in the trenches. The infiltrators were connected with serial distribution
and were 10 fect or more on center. In the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were
installed, The effluent lime was 4-i.n.ch SDI.35 PVC.
The location of the septic tank and the leach field area are as shown on the attached as -built
drawing.
