of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 91 - �? 0
CONCERNING APPOINTMENTS TO THE BASALT REGIONAL
LIBRARY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, the Basalt Regional Library District encompasses
areas in both Eagle County and Pitkin County, and certain
appointments to the Basalt Regional Library District Board of
Trustees (hereinafter "Library Board ") are made by each county from
residents of their respective counties; and
WHEREAS, the terms of one Library Board trustee from each
county expired on March 1, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the County ") is empowered
by Section 24 -90 -108, C.R.S., to make appointments to said Library
Board; and
WHEREAS, the County is directed by Section 24 -90 -110 (4)(a),
C.R.S., to ratify appointments made by other government entities
to said Library Board; and
WHEREAS, said Library Board has recommended that Barbara
Forrest from Eagle County and Marcia Duncan from Pitkin County be
reappointed to their respective positions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT Barbara Forrest be and is hereby reappointed Trustee to
the Basalt Regional Library Board for a term to expire
March 1, 1996.
THAT the appointment of Marcia Duncan by Pitkin County to a
term expiring March 1, 1996, be and is hereby ratified.

THAT, the Board finds, determines and declares that this
Resolution is necessary for the public health, safety and welfare
of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held the day of March, 1991.
