Re: Soil Percolation Test
Lot 4, Block 3, Lake Creek Meadows
Eagle County, Colorado
Dear Mr. Taylor:
In accordance with your instructions we have performed the above
referenced soil percolation test. This test was performed in accordance
with the procedures of the Eagle County Individual Sewage Disposal Systems
Regulations.
A typical soil profile on the site consists of an upper layer of topsoil
extending approximately 6 to 10 inches below the existing ground surface_
Underlying this layer is a stratum of brown, dense, slightly moist clay
with a trace of medium to fine sand and organic matter. This stratum ex-
tended the full depth of the test holes. No ground water was encountered
in any of the holes at the time of testing.
The following table presents the results of the percolation test.
Please refer to the enclosed test hole location plan.
Test Hole Number Depth (inches) Minutes/l inch drop
TH-1 42 24-
TH-2 36 26
TH-3 36 14
Average field percolation.rate = 21 minutes/1" drop
