RESOLUTION NO. 94 -jaZ?
APPROVING THE OFFICE OF TRANSPORTATION
SAFETY ALCOHOL PREVENTION INCENTIVE
GRANT #95- 01 -19 -08
WHEREAS, the County of Eagle, cn behalf of the Eagle County
Sheriff's Office, has submitted an application to the Colorado
Department of Transportation, Office of Transportation Safety for
funding a project for the prevention of drunken driving pursuant to
Title 23 United States Code, Section 410; and
WHEREAS, the County of Eagle has the authority and
responsibility to fund the Eagle County Sheriff's Office and to
sign contracts on behalf of the Eagle County Sheriff's Office; and
WHEREAS, a resolution by the County of Eagle formally
approving the Contract, and authorizing the proper signature to be
affixed to the Contract indicating such approval is required by the
State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
SSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT the County of Eagle hereby approves the term, conditions
and obligations of Alcohol Incentive Grant Contract #95- 01- 19 -08,
and hereby authorizes the Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners authority to sign the Contract on behalf of the
County of Eagle.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, this 141, day of
December, 1994.
