All installation must comply with all requirements of the County Individual Sewage Disposal Regulations, adopted pursuant to authority granted in 25-10-104, CRS 1973 amended 25-1-614, CRS 1973 2. This permit is valid only for connection to structures which have fully complied with County Zoning and building requirements. Connection to or use with any dwelling or structures not approved by the building and Zoning office shall automatically be a violation of a requirement of the permit and cause for both legal action and revocation of the permit. 3. Section III, 3.24 requires any person who constructs, alters, or installs an individual sewage disposal system in a manner which involves a knowing and material variation from the terms or specifications con- tained in the application of permit commits a Class 1, Petty Offense ($500.00 fine - 6 months in jail or 1—f-1, ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH P.O. The individual sewage disposal system will be constructed and installed in accordance with the regulations governing individual sewage systems within Eagle County, and shall comply with House Bill 1553 CRS 66-14, 1973. Payment shall be made to the Eagle County Treasurer. Permit, upon approval of this application, may be obtained at the Eagle County sanitarian's office. BOX 179 EAGLE COLORADO 81631 FAX (303) 328-710- I'm writing in regard to the status of the septic system at 39383 Us 6 & 24 (within S1/2 Section 7 T5S 82W) County records indicate this dwelling is owned by you. The Tax Parcel number for this property is 2103-073-00-003." It has been brought to our attention that this dwelling is allegedly being occupied by two families. Our records indicate that the individual sewage disposal system was constructed in 1976 under permit #14 and was sized for a two bedroom single family residence. A site visit on May 6, 1991 indicated the individual sewage disposal system was apparently functioning satisfactorily at this time as no surfacing sewage was noted. We are concerned, however, about it's continued functioning and would ask that you pay close attention to it. Be aware that should the system fail, you would be required to make the appropriate repairs to or replacement of the septic system. This would require a new individual sewage disposal system permit from this office. I believe there is no public sewer line currently serving this area. If public sewer service does become available in the future, I would encourage you to take advantage of it. The presence of a sewer line would prohibit this office from issuing a repair permit for your septic system, should the Upper Eagle valley Consolidated Sanitation District agree to serve.
