GMUGEOTFGHNICAL Noverriber 4, 2004 Mr. Mark Fox RE: Inspection of Septic System Installation Fox Hunt & Partners Lot 60, Cordillera Filing No. 27 P.O. Box 1503 0279 Sunquist Road Vail, CO 81658 Eagle County, Colorado Project No. 04001 - Permit No. 2355-04 Dear Mark: At the request of Jerry McArthur with long's Excavation, on October 21 and November X, 2004, we visited the construction site on Lot 60, Cordillera Filing No. 27, 0279 Sunquist Road, Eagle County, Colorado. The purpose of our site visits was to inspect the installation of the septic system. They installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No. 04001 SD.DWG, last dated August 17, 2004. The system was installed as shown on the attached as -built sketch. They installed a 2000-gallon, two -compartment, precast concrete, septic tank. At the inlet and at the outlet of the septic tank, there were "T"s" installed. The outlet "T" was 15 inches below the invert. The septic tank is located on the east side of the building under construction, 4.5 feet south and 12.5 feet east from the northeast building corner. The septic tank had concrete baffles, and two, one foot risers over each of the openings. There was a cleanout between the house and the tank, and at the outlet of the septic tank. One hundred eighty-one, standard infiltrator chambers were installed in eight trenches. The southern most trench had 9 infiltrators an eight -foot separation and then fifteen infiltrators. The following trench had sixteen and sixteen with separation of ten feet. The next had sixteen and sixteen with separation of 6 feet. The fourth trench had thirteen and sixteen with a separation o f 7.5 feet. The fifth trench had 10 and sixteen with a separation of 11 feet. The sixth trench had 16, the seventh had IS and the eighth had seven. Inspection ports were installed in the first and last infiltrators of each of the two segments in each of the trenches. The soil exposed in the trenches was suitable. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
