of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 96- ~`
AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENTS
TO
THE TOP OF THE ROCKIES SCENIC BYWAY
WHEREAS, pursuant to an Intergovernmental Cooperative
Agreement (Agreement) among Eagle County, Summit County and Lake
County dated March 29, 1995, the Top of the Rockies Scenic Byway
Committee (Committee) was formed; and
WHEREAS, said Committee is to be composed of 12 members; four
representatives appointed by each County; and
WHEREAS, Eagle County currently has only two representatives
to the Committee, which were appointed by Eagle County Resolution
No. 95-68; and
WHEREAS, the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners
("Board") hereby wishes to appoint two additional representatives
to serve on the Committee; and
WHEREAS, David Kenyon and Jim Olson have expressed an interest
in serving on the Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to appoint David Kenyon and Jim
Olson to the Committee.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, David Kenyon and Jim Olson be and are hereby appointed
to the Committee to serve at the will of the board of County
Commissioners. Said terms are for two years and shall expire on
June 24, 1998.
THAT, this resolution is necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of Eagle County, Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
held the ~~/~~ day of June, 1996.
