The purpose of our site visit was to observe the installation of the lawhfiaid. They installed the leachffeld in ovorall compliance with the design recotnmeudations, stated In our letter doted .tune 8, 1999. From the existing septic tank to the first Infiltrator trench was 10 feet. Forty-eight, Standard ItfiltratorChambers were Ini6lied in five trenches, as shown on the as - built. The first four trenches had 11 Infiltrators each, and the'1W had four. The infiltrators were conn"ted with serial distribution. In the lest infiltrator of wh trench, inspection ports were installed. Horizontal distance from center to cantor of the trenches, was 9 feet. The depth of the tenches was 2.5 to 3.5 feet. Scott Davis said that he had ordered a new cover, which will be in on Monday, June 14, 1999. In the meantime he will cover the inspections port on'the septic tank with a temporary cover, for the protection of the children and others.
