BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 97- &5
RESOLUTION ENUMERATING PASSENGER FACILITY CHARGE PROJECTS
WHEREAS, on December 21, 1992, Resolution 92 -209, regarding the implementation
and collection of a Passenger Facility Charge (the "PFC Resolution ") was adopted; and
WHEREAS, the PFC Resolution authorized the collection of a Passenger Facility
Charge ( "PFC ") on Enplaned Passengers for use in projects to enhance safety and capacity of the
Eagle County Regional Airport; and
WHEREAS, a High Speed Runway Broom with Air Blast will enhance snow removal
capacity thereby reducing the amount of time the Airport must close operations for snow
removal, and, hence enhance safety and capacity of the Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the PFCs collected pursuant to the PFC Resolution are hereby authorized to be
expended on the following projects:
Purchase of a High Speed Runway Broom with Air Blast;
The provisions of this Resolution are necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the
citizens and residents of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the
C unty of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the /S ) day of
1997.
