of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 17!
APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE EAGLE COUNTY PLACEMENT
ALTERNATIVES COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 82 -25 and by virtue
of the authority vested in it by §§ 19 -3 -120, et seq., C.R.S.,
the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle,
State of Colorado (hereinafter the "Board "), created the Eagle
County Placement Alternatives Commission (hereinafter the
"PAC ") to serve for the purpose of developing and implementing
an annual plan for the Board's approval to prevent or minimize
out -of -home placement of dependent or neglected children, in
accordance with guidelines more fully set forth in Resolution
No. 82 -25; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution provided for the Board's appoint-
ment of regular members to serve on the PAC at the pleasure of
the Board; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Child Protection Act of
1975, §§ 19 -10- 101, et seg,, C.R.S., the - Eagle - County Depart -
ment of Social Services (hereinafter the "Department ") estab-
lished, in 1981, the Eagle County Child Protection Team
(hereinafter the "CPT ") to perform those duties required by
said statutes; and
WHEREAS, in light of the interrelated nature and scope of
the activities and concerns of the CPT and the PAC, and in the
interests of expediency, the Board deems it appropriate to
appoint CPT members to serve on the PAC as well.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, until further order of the Board, all members who
currently and shall in the future serve on the Eagle County
Child Protection Team are hereby appointed as regular members
of the Eagle County Placement Alternatives Commission, their
terms as PAC members to run concurrently with their terms as
CPT members.

THAT, the passage of this Resolution in no way revokes
the right of the Board to terminate, at its sole discretion,
the membership of any such member appointed to the PAC hereby
in the event the Board deems such termination appropriate.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its
regular meeting held the day of 1986.
