Community Development on or about
April 28, 1986, within the Agricultural Residential Zone District; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, on
July 22, 1986; and
WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exhibits, study
of the Master Plan for the unincorporated area of Eagle County,
comments of the Eagle County Department of Community Development,
comments of public officials and agencies, the recommendation of
the Eagle County Planning Commission, and comments from all
interested parties, the Board of County Commissioners of the County
of Eagle, State of Colorado, finds as follows:
1. That proper publication and public notice was provided
as required by law for the hearing before the Planning Commission
and the Board of County'! Commissioners.
2. That the proposed special use conforms to the requirements
of Section 2.09 of the Eagle County Land Use Regulations.
3. That the proposed land use will be compatible with
existing uses in the

zoning is in the best interest of the health, safety, morals, order,
convenience, prosperity and welfare of the citizens of Eagle County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado:

That the' application of George Morrison, File No: ZS- 70 -86 -A,
for approval of a special use permit amendment to allow for the
construction of a bath house and six tent sites to accomodate overnight
campers within the Agricultural Residential Zone District in the
following described unincorporated area of Eagle County be approved:
See attached Exhibit A for Legal Description.
THAT the following conditions shall be placed upon this
approval and that violation of any condition shall be the basis for
revocation of the permit:
1. The number of trees planted for screening along I -70,
the south property line of the mobile home park, shall need to be
increased by 100 %. All new trees shall need to be similar in size
to the existing plants.) The existing screen landscaping is not
adequate. A performance bond will be required to insure the
completion of this landscaping.
THAT the Board of County Commissioners directs the
Department of Community Development to provide a copy of this
Resolution to the applicant.
