BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 86- 17 /
RESOLUTION TO DESIGNATE NAMES OF THE MISSING IN ACTION SERVICEMEN
OF BOTH THE KOREAN DAR AND OF THE VIETNAM DAR ON PLAQUE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on behalf of
the Citizens of Eagle County have caused the research of all
the names of the missing in action servicemen of both the
Korean War and of the Vietnam War who were residents of Eagle
County and who gave their lives in the service of their County
in those wars; and
WHEREAS, the Board has caused a plaque to be made with
said names inscribed thereon; and
WHEREAS, the Board now wishes to dedicate the plaque to
those venerable servicemen; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the plaque be dedicated with appropriate ceremony
on Flag Day, June 14, 1986 at 10:30 a.m.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the text of this occasion be
spread on the minutes of this meeting and that the original of
this Resolution shall be preserved in the Eagle County Ar-
chives.
