COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 86 — �1_
WHEREAS, pursuant to § 30- 2- 102(2.5)(a), C.R.S., as
amended, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado (hereinafter the "Board "), is author-
ized to increase the annual salaries of elected Eagle County
officers in an amount not to exceed twenty -five percent (25 %)
of the salary received by such officers as of January 1, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the aforementioned statute,
the Board is required to set any such salary increases on or
before June 1, 1986, said increases to become effective on
January 13, 1987; and
WHEREAS, notwithstanding any increases so made, no County
officer shall have his or her compensation adjusted during the
term of office to which he or she has been elected; and
WHEREAS, § 30- 2- 102(2.5)(a), C.R.S., further requires
that any salary increases made with respect to the County
Treasurer, Assessor and Clerk shall be by the same percentage,
while any increase for the County Sheriff and the members of
the Board of County Commissioners may be in a different amount
from each other and from the other County officers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
SSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT the Board hereby sets the following salaries for
elected Eagle County officers:

Commissioners Sheriff Assessor and Clerk
$32,200.00 $40,000.00 $31,980.00

THAT the salaries specified above reflect increases not
in excess of 25% and in all respects conform to the require-
ments set forth in § 30 -2 -102, et seq., C.R.S., as amended.
THAT such salaries shall not become effective until
January 13, 1987, and any increases reflected therein shall
not be applied to the salaries of those elected County
officers whose terms of office commenced prior to said date.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County
Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at
its regular meeting held the 7a day of May, 1986.
