The purpose of our site visits was to inspect the installation of the septic system. T. Nottingham Construction, installed the system in overall compliance with the septic system design, Drawing No. 14-2960SD.DWG, dated September 8, 2014, as shown on the attached as-built sketch. They installed a 1500-gallon, two compartment, plastic septic tank by Infiltrator with two risers on the first and last compartment. There were no risers on the middle opening. The existing cleanout between the septic tank and the building remained. The new building sewer line was connected on the old building sewer line between the old septic tank and the house. Eighty-eight, Q-4, Standard Infiltrator Chambers were installed in four trenches. There were seventeen (17) infiltrators in the first trench, nineteen (19) in the second, twenty-five (25) in the third, and four (4) plus twenty-three (23), separated by a nine foot segment of 4-inch diameter SDR35 pipe, in the last trench. There was a minimum of seven feet separation between the trenches. In the first and last infiltrator of each trench, inspection ports were installed. The T’s in both compartments of the septic tank were at least 14-inches long. The old leachfield was abandoned. Tere Nottingham will send a memo for the abandonment of the existing septic tank, which was about seven feet below grade. There is no other warranty either expressed or implied. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. Sincerely, LKP Engineering, Inc. As discussed - all of the IM tanks are shipped from my distributors yards to the job sites assembled. In this case - Timberline Plastics located in Commerce City has been trained by me to assemble the IM tanks upon delivery from Infiltrator Systems, Inc. Under no circumstances are the IM tanks to be shipped unassembled to a job site unless I am involved in the conversation. I have attached a cutsheet and Installation Instructions per our conversation. Please call me if you have any questions. Thanks! Box 722 Edwards, CO 81632 RE: Soil and Site Evaluation Lot 17A, Block 6. Lake Creek Meadows 37 Elk Place Eagle County, Colorado On August 14, 2014, we visited your property on Lot 17A, Block 6. Lake Creek Meadows, 37 Elk Place. 37 Elk Place is an 1.6302 acre parcel of land located approximately 2.7 miles south from the intersection of Lake Creek Road with Highway 6. Elk Place is a small road off of Eagle Crest Road, off of West lake Creek Road. The purpose of our site visits was to select the most suitable site available on the lot for the proposed location of the new septic system. The residence is presently services by an existing septic system. The septic tank is about six feet below grade and we understand that the leachfield consist of three trenches with infiltrators. The infiltrators are a minimum of six feet below the existing grade and constantly have standing water. !Preliminary Investigation G Address: 37 Elk Place, Edwards, Eagle County, Colorado G Legal Description: Lot 17A, Block 6, Lake Creek Meadows, Eagle County Colorado. G Existing Structures: On the property there are two structures, the main residence and a detached garage G Location of existing and proposed wells on property: There is no well on the property. G ECEHD records G Topography: The topography of the property varies from moderate to steep. The area of the proposed new leachfield has a slope of about 24%. G Soil Data: The soil encountered in the profile hole consisted of about one foot of topsoil underlain by five feet of light brown, clayey, gravelly sand with cobbles and boulders. Ground water was not encountered. G Location of applicable setbacks in Table 7-1 !Reconnaisance G Landscape position: The proposed leachfield site is located in a back yard, to the north of the two existing buildings and the driveway.
