of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 95 -/
RESOLUTION -RE BIKE PATH
ON ADDITION TO AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Eagle County, Colorado ( "County ") recently acquired
property in the "Hoffman Addition" in the Town of Gypsum; and
WHEREAS, the property is planned to be used as "safe zone"
east of the main runway of the Eagle County Regional Airport and
for potential lengthening of the runway and, therefore, to remain
undeveloped; and
WHEREAS, the County's Trails Plan identifies a bike path along
the south side of Highway 6 where this property abuts Highway 6;
and
WHEREAS, the Town Trustees of the Town of Gypsum have inquired
of the County's plans with respect to building a bike path on or
along the property; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to formally express its intentions
to the Town.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, the Board desires and expects that the County will
construct a bike path consistent with the Trails Plan in the
Highway 6 right -of -way abutting this property when that will meet
contiguous bike path construction.
MOVED, READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting
