of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 95-~
RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE RESIGNATION
OF THE COUNTY MANAGER, APPOINTING ALLEN SARTIN
AS COUNTY BUDGET OFFICER, AND PROVIDING FOR COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS TO ACT IN PLACE OF THE
COUNTY MANAGER
WHEREAS, Jack Lewis has resigned as County Manager and County
Budget Officer and those offices are now vacant; and
WHEREAS, a number of current policies and procedures of the
County require approval of the County Manager of certain actions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Allen Sartin, County Finance Director, is hereby
appointed County Budget Officer effective immediately to serve
until further order of the Board.
THAT, certain agreements executed by the Chairman of the Board
of Commissioners accepting the resignation of Jack Lewis are hereby
ratified.
THAT, any current County policy requiring the approval and
signature of the County Manager, the approval and signature of the
Chairman of the Board will take the place of the signature of the
County Manager. If the Chairman of the Board is unavailable, the
signature and approval of the Chairman Pro tem will take the place
of that of the County Manager. If neither the Chairman nor the
Chairman Pro tem is available, the remaining member of the Board of
County Commissioners is authorized to approve and sign where
required by County policy or procedure. Where the County Employee
Handbook currently requires appeal to the County Manager before
further appeal, such step will not be necessary and the affected
employee may proceed to the next step in the appeals process until
further order of the Board.

of the County of Eagle, State f Colorado, at its regular meeting
