HomeMy WebLinkAboutR95-076 appointing referee for 1995 CBOECommissioner moved adoption of the fol owing Resolution: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Sitting as the Board of Equalization COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 95- APPOINTING A REFEREE FOR THE 1995 COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 39-8-102(2)(1), C.R.S., the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, acting in its capacity as the Eagle County Board of Equalization (hereinafter "Board"), has the authority to appoint independent referees who are experienced in property valuation to conduct hearings on behalf of the Board; and WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of appointing a referee to sit for the 1995 assessment appeal hearings to make findings and submit recommendations to the Board for its final action. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, sitting in its capacity as the Eagle County Board of Equalization: THAT, the Board hereby appoints Edwin E. Schmale, Jr., to sit as its referee for the 1995 session of the County Board of Equalization. THAT, said referee shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and may be removed with or without good cause shown. THAT, said referee shall avoid any appearance of impropriety and shall disqualify himself if he has any close and/or direct relationship with the matter being heard.
