of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COND4ISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO. 92- 43
CONCERNING APPOINTMENT TO THE BASALT REGIONAL
LIBRARY DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
WHEREAS, the Basalt Regional Library District encompasses areas in both Eagle
County and Pitldn County, and certain appointments to the Basalt Regional Library District
Board of Trustees (hereinafter "Library Board ") are made by each county from residents of their
respective counties; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy has occurred on the Basalt Regional Library District Board of
Trustees by the resignation of Marcia Duncan; and
WHEREAS, the County is directed by Section 24 -90 -110 (4) (a), C.R.S., to ratify
appointments made by other government entities to said Library Board; and
WHEREAS, said Library Board has recommended that Lucia Collins be appointed as
a representative of Pitldn County to fill the vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMNIISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT the appointment of Lucia Collins to the Basalt Regional Library Board by Pitldn
County to fulfill the term to expire March 1, 1996, be and is hereby ratified.
THAT the Board finds, determines and declares that this Resolution is necessary for the
public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado.
