BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE,STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO.2020-062
MENTAL HEALTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS RESOLUTION
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado
(hereinafter the"Board") established a Mental Health Advisory Committee pursuant to
Resolution No. 2018-007; and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution 2018-034,the Board amended Section 2,Paragraph A.1. of
Resolution 2018-007 concerning the Eagle County Mental Health Committee and making
appointments to such Committee; and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution 2019-062,the Board amended Section 2,Paragraph A.1. of
Resolution 2018-007 concerning the Eagle County Mental Health Committee and making
appointments to such Committee; and
WHEREAS,Gary Schreiner, PhD, Jackie Skramstad and Michelle Muething were each
appointed for a term of two years commencing on June 1, 2018, and ending on June 1, 2020; and
WHEREAS,the terms of Gary Schreiner,PhD, Jackie Skramstad and Michelle Muething
expired as of June 1, 2020 and pursuant to Resolution 2019-061, upon expiration of this term,
individuals appointed to fill vacancies shall serve three-year terms; and
WHEREAS,the Board desires to re-appoint Gary Scheriner and to appoint two new community
members to fill the vacancies on the Mental Health Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, such appointments do not constitute contractual obligations of the County of Eagle
nor of the Board, and the County and the Board are not legally bound for the respective terms of
appointment as specified herein below,the County, by and through the Board, having the
authority, in its sole discretion,to change, add, or abolish such appointments and to fill
vacancies,therefore, as it sees fit.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO:

THAT, Christopher Rieder of Mind Springs, Carrie Benway of Eagle Valley Hope Center, and
Gary Schreiner, PhD of Mountain Family Health Center are hereby appointed to Eagle County's
Mental Health Advisory Committee to serve a term of three years commencing effective June 1,
2020 and ending on June 1, 2023.
MOVED,READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Eagle, State of Colorado at its regular meeting held the 25 day of August, 2020.
