COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO.2020-049
RESOLUTION APPOINTING REFEREE FOR THE
2020 COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 39-8-102(2)(i), C.R.S.,the Board of
County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, acting in its capacity as the
Eagle County Board of Equalization(hereinafter "Board"), has the authority to appoint
independent referees who are experienced in property valuation to conduct hearings on behalf of
the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board is desirous of appointing one (1)hearing referee to sit for the
2020 assessment appeal hearings and make findings and submit recommendations to the Board
for its final action.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADO, acting in its
capacity as the Eagle County Board of Equalization:
THAT,the Board hereby appoints Willem van der Hoeven to sit as its referee for the
2020 session of the County Board of Equalization.
THAT, said referee shall serve at the pleasure of the Board and may be removed with or
without good cause shown.
THAT, the referee shall avoid any appearance of impropriety and shall disqualify himself
if he has any close and/or direct relationship with the matter being heard.
