WHEREAS, the Treasurer of Eagle County issued
Tax Sale Certificate No. 179, Sale of 1895, Tax Sale Certi-
ficate No. 149, Sale of 1896, and Tax Sale Certificate No.
194, Sale of 1897, to Eagle County for Lots Forty -six (46)
and Forty -seven (47), in Block "B ", in the Town of Red
Cliff, Eagle County, Colorado, on November 16, 1895,
October 5, 1896 and November 6, 1897, respectively;
AND, WHEREAS, the County Treasurer of Eagle
uounty did on the 13th day of October, 1899, issue
Treasurer's Tax Deed to William Outwater for Lots Forty -
six (46) and Forty -seven (47) in Block "B ", in the Town
of Red Cliff, Eagle County, Colorado, which Treasurer's
Tax Deed was based on said Tax Sale Certificate No. 179,
Sale of 1895, and which recites that all subsequent taxes
had been paid;
AND, WHEREAS, the Treasurer of Eagle County,
Colorado, had no authority to issue Tax Sale Certificate
No. 149, Sale of 1896, and Tax Sale Certificate No. 194,
Sale of 1897, on account of the fact that there was a
Tax Sale Certificate outstanding in the name of said
County at the time of issuance of said Tax Sale Certificates;
AND, WHEREAS, it appears from the records that
it was the intention of the Treasurer of Eagle County by
virtue of the issuance of the Treasurer's Tax Deed men -
tioned to convey all the right, title and interest of said

County of Eagle in and to said lots, free and clear from Tax
Sale Certificate No. 149, Sale of 1896, and Tax Sale Certi-
ficate No. 194, Sale of 1897;
AND, WHEREAS, Elizabeth Bartle, otherwise known as
Lizzie Bartle, is now the owner of said lots;
NOW, THEREFORE, in order to rectify the mistakes
which have occurred through error of the County is hereby
resolved and ordered that Nettie M. Cave, Commissioner of
Deeds of the County of Eagle, State of Colorado, for and in
consideration of the sum of One Dollar (1.00), issue a
Quit -claim Deed to said Elizabeth Bartle for said lots and
the Treasurer is hereby authorized to assign Tax Sale
Certificate No. 149, Sale of 1896, and Tax Sale Certificate
No. 194, Sale of 1897, to said Elizabeth Bartle and to issue
Redemption Certificates to her on account of said Certificate
No. 149, Sale of 1896, and said Certificate No. 194, Sale
of 1897, and that such assignments and redemptions be made
as further consideration of the sum of One Dollar 41.00)
