WHEREAS, after careful consideration byt.this Board, it eppears necessary
and for the best interest of the People of the County to pur-
chase
1 Demonstrator Continental CS -7 Scraper
Complete with adapter for Mounting on
Caterpillar Diesel 50 Tractor Serial
1E1425
from H. W. MOORE EQUIPMENT COMPANY, for use of the County on
State Highway work, on the terms hereafter stated and the sum
of $3600.00 is the reasonable and agreed value of the said
equipment:
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that this Board purchase from the said
H. W. Moore Equipment Company the above named articles for
the sum of $3600.60 payable to said H. W. Moore Equipment
Company, or its assignee as follows:
$750.00 August lst, 1938.
$950.00 on or before September 5, 1938.
$950.00 on or before October 5, 1938,
$950,00 on or before November 5, 1938.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to evidence the said amounts payable, the
Chairman of the Board or by mejority vote of the Council or
Board of Trustees, with the attestation of the Clerk, shall
be and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver to said
H. W. Moore Equipment Company assignable trade acceptances,
and a certificate or certificates evidencing the above trans -.
action and the agreement of the County to pay to H. W, Moore
Equipment Company, or its assignee, for the purchase so made;
and that it is understood that the said H. W. Moore Equipment
Company may assign its right to the said payments, and that
its endorsement of the said trade acceptance will be sufficient
evidence of any such assignment.
