R E S O L U T I O N .
WHEREAS, It appearing to the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Eagle County, State of Colorado, after a careful
review of the road requirements of said County for the year of
1927, and a careful check of the work done on said roads for the
year of 1926, that certain work on said highway stands out as
of paramount importance and necessity for construction during
the coming year of 1927;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following con -
struction budget for the year 1927, be recommended to the State
Highway Department of the State of Colorado, viz:
(1) That Federal Aid Project from Avon to Wolcott, in
Eagle County, be given first consideration for the year 1927,
this to be improvement of State Highway No. 4.
(2) That Federal Aid Project on State Highway No. 11
be given second consideration, this being from Wolcott, in Eagle
County, to the Grand County line.
(3) That the Holy Cross Road be given first considera-
tion as a State Highway project, and that this road, known also
as the Shrine Road, be pushed to an early completion.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution
be spread upon the minutes of this meeting, and a copy sent to
the State Highway Department, State Office Building, Denver,
Colorado, and a copy sent to H. L. Jenness, Division Engineer,
at his office in Glenwood Springs, State of Colorado.
