Commissioner 1 moved adoption of the following Resolution:
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
COUNTY OF EAGLE,STATE OF COLORADO
RESOLUTION NO.2018-6 14
RESOLUTION CONCERNING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE
EAGLE COUNTY FAIR AND RODEO ADVISORY COUNCIL
WHEREAS, a selection committee consisting of one Eagle County Commissioner, an
Eagle County Facilities Management representative, and several representatives from the Eagle
County Fair and Rodeo Advisory Council (hereinafter the"Council"),conducted interviews with
interested parties who wished to serve on the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council now desired to reappoint Ed Oyler, who was appointed by
Resolution 2016-093 and whose term expired on October 31, 2018, for another two (2) year
term.
WHEREAS, the Council now desires,to reappoint Brent Scott, who was appointed by
Resolution 2016-093 and whose term expired on October 31, 2018,for another two (2>year
term.
WHEREAS, the Council now desires to reappoint Ern Mooney, who was appointed by
Resolution 2016-014 and whose term expired on October 31, 2018, for another two (2) year
term.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Eagle, State of
Colorado (herein after"Board"),desires to make the appointments as recommended by the
Council.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF THE COUNTY OF EAGLE,STATE OF COLORADO:
THAT, Ed Oyler is hereby appointed to the Council, as a regular member, said term to
expire on 30`h day of October, 2020.
THAT, Brent Scott is hereby appointed to the Council, as a regular member,said term
to expire on 30'11day of October, 2020.
THAT, Ern Mooney is hereby appointed to the Council, as a regular member, said term
to expire on 30`"day of October, 2020.
THAT,the foregoing appointments and designations do not constitute contractual
obligations of the County of Eagle nor of the Board. and the County and the Board are not
legally bound for the respective terms of appointment as specified herein below, the County, by
and through the Board, having the authority. in its sole discretion, to change, add,or abolish such
appointments and designations and to fill vacancies as it see fit.
MOVED,READ AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of the County
of Eagle, State of Colorado, at its regular meeting held the II". day of 5k-fl .,2018.
